As a fully web-based subscription service, there is no hardware or software to install. Content is securely hosted and available online anytime. Brainshark’s fully redundant computing infrastructure is hosted in a Tier 1 SAS-70 certified data center. Brainshark also maintains a separate, fully mirrored disaster recovery site hosted by a different, geographically distinct Tier 1 provider.
Physical access to the highly secure data center facilities that house the Brainshark system is limited and controlled by state-of-the-art security and monitoring systems. The climate-controlled sites also include redundant power with backup generators and fire suppression systems. In addition, the latest technologies are utilized for intrusion detection, system security, virus protection and firewall services. Brainshark also conducts regular vulnerability scans (weekly and monthly) and enlists an independent third party security auditor to conduct deep penetration testing and vulnerability assessments annually. Brainshark also has redundant data storage and servers, fully cataloged data backups and off-site data storage and retrieval services.
